Jason Piepmeier, CFA

Jason Piepmeier, CFA, is an investor based in Palm Beach, Florida. He invests across stocks, bonds, currencies, commodities, crypto and venture.

Jason is the Founder of 21 LLC, where he consults for Fortune 500 companies, hedge funds and private equity firms on corporate finance and capital allocation. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Finance and Economics at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, where he teaches CFA and corporate finance courses.

Before founding 21 LLC, Jason spent his career in institutional finance. At Merrill Lynch Private Bank and Wealth Management, he co-managed $2 billion+ in portfolios across stocks, bonds, commodities, structured products and alternatives. He then joined NextEra Energy — the world’s largest utility and clean energy company — where he analyzed and drove financial decisions on $5 billion+ of capital investments spanning utility-scale wind, solar and battery storage, natural gas infrastructure and power plants, nuclear power, and M&A. Jason also managed $20 billion+ of NextEra’s corporate pension assets across stocks, bonds, private equity, private credit, venture capital, real estate and hedge funds.

Jason earned a Finance degree from Florida State University in 2005 and the CFA charter in 2009.
